I already wrote about its length, but depending on who you ask, the Florida National Scenic Trail spans somewhere between 1,000 and 1,500 miles. The wide range can largely be attributed to the multiple tracts of the trail (e.g., eastern and western paths through central Florida and around Lake Okeechobee).
