Day 8
After breakfast, we shuttled back to Unicoi Gap.
Leaving Green Dragon
The day had us ascending Rocky and Tray Mountain. Taking a water refill and lunch break at Tray Mountain shelter. The temp was in the 80s. Not my preferred range by at least 30°. Since it was early afternoon, we continued on. By late afternoon, my feet felt like hamburgers. Raw hamburgers, not the tasty kind.
