We had a great night’s sleep in our tent! Better than the shelter sleepers today. One of them found a family of around 15 mice in the shelter. Yuck! Everyone went out in the dark and set up their tents.
On the trail, we encountered some people with whom we had great conversations. That’s something that’s really standing out: everybody here is very friendly, interested, and chatty. In the Netherlands, you’re lucky if someone awkwardly nods after you pass them. …
