Day 1
I started at 9am from the southern terminus. Walked the half mile to CLEEF to sign the 2026 poster. And I was off onto the slow rolling hills of the PCT. Its starts deceptively easy for the first few miles but then begins the climb upwards with a high temp of about 80 degrees F and beautifully blue skies. Passed a few fellow PCT hikers without knowing the full trail etiquette, other than letting them know someone is coming up behind them. …
