Brrrr. This morning was cold. I ended up putting on my pants and puffy to start the day. We had over 8,000 feet to descend and I knew warmer weather was ahead so I was enjoying the cozy bundled up hiking while I could.
As soon as I got below the cloud coverage the layers were shed. I walked alone most of the day, catching up on podcasts and focused on navigating the rocky terrain. The wind was intense all day. …
