What I Learned on My First Solo Backpacking Trip

Until last week, I’d never gone backpacking alone. Then I did a NOBO thru-hike of the Monadnock-Sunapee Greenway Trail. I’m planning on thru-hiking the Northville-Placid Trail solo later this year, so I thought it’d be a good idea to spend some time alone in the woods on a shorter trail first. Well, I did–and I didn’t die! Actually, I had a great time.
