Week 3: Heading North
Goldilocks and I went swimming in the hotel pool and did our best to enjoy all of Hiawassee we could while only there briefly. We got delightful Mexican food from our awesome waitress Lupita; somebody’s lovely tia I’m sure. I got birria tacos and Goldilocks got Chile Verde pork. We felt as refreshed as hobbits after two months in the House of Elrond after just two days.
I finally was able to meet up with and get a ride from “The Grateful Hiker.” Don and Miss Mary were extremely kind and helpful. …
