Day 8: 115-135
A very cold morning in the canyon forced a quick camp packup, so I started hiking up out of the canyon to the sunrise and warmth for a later breakfast. The miles were tough today, lots of gain and loss in elevation in some mild heat. It drained everyone until we got to Mike’s place to refill water and share a late lunch under the shade.
