Today felt like it was all uphill. It could not have been, and indeed, the map shows almost as much downhill. The uphills were steep, while the downs were gradual.
Leaving Deer Lick, I downhilled to the Old Forge camping area where they have a year round tap. Spring water is nice, but right now not having to filter more is nicer. With this heat I am drinking a ton.
