Breakfast at the De Benedettis was great, as expected! They had a pot of warm coffee and boxes of my favorite brown sugar cinnamon pop tarts to go around. After a final charge of our battery banks, we gave one final pet to all the pups and headed for the trail.
I spent the morning walking with Straight Up again. It’s great to have a walking buddy to pass the time when needed, and who also has a mutual understanding when alone time is warranted for either of us. …
