A Beautiful Start to a Wonderful Day:
The Morning at the Blue Mountain Shelter was probably the prettiest sunrise yet. It was a crimson sun that shot up from behind the mountains in the distance which bathed the forest in blood red light.
You could not ask for a better motivator to get out of the sleeping bag than a beautiful morning. Well, that or the promise of a restful day at a hostel. Today was finally the day we made it to Unicoi Gap and got to stay at the Green Dragon. …
