We didn’t have too long to chill at the hostel today, because a familiar face was there to pick us up: Ferdinand! We haven’t seen him since Huckleberry’s Hostel, where shortly after he left the trail because of stress fractures. It’s great to see him again! We also gave him a little “I’m your Huckleberry” patch, that we bought at Buc-ees a while ago. Then, we got some breakfast together.
He’s still wearing a foot brace and can’t walk too long of distances, …
