Samsung could introduce dark theme icons in One UI 9.5.
References to a dark theme icon option were spotted in a recent version of the Nearby Device app.
Samsung is going full steam ahead with its next major update. Last week, a build for One UI 9.5 was spotted on Samsung’s test servers. Fast forward a few days, and the topic of One UI 9.5 is coming up once again. This time, it’s for a feature that could be included in the rollout.
According to SammyGuru, version 1.3.07.3791 of the Nearby Device app contains references to a dark theme icon option. This option would automatically swap out the lighter background of the icon for a darker one. As a result, this would help deliver a more consistent look to your home screen when dark mode is enabled.
