I opted out of the hostel breakfast this morning so I could get a prompt start.
The trail eased in with nice rolling hills and no rough climbs. Everything is fogged. The forecast was for a 100% chance of rain and I was in my poncho by 10. Perhaps the fog and rain made the deer feel more safe because I passed six. The fog blocked any long views, but flowers still line sections of the trail. …
