Five Lessons in the First 110 Miles

Aub and I made it to Franklin, NC. Staying at the Grove Hostel – our first stay off-trail after 110 miles(!). A lot of steps, a lot of luck, and a lot of lessons.
Admittedly, most of these L’s feel pretty obvious looking back, but were felt hard in real-time. Here’s what I learned between Springer Mountain and Winding Staircase Gap:
