5/11/26:
8:30-3:45pm, 13.4 miles. Nice morning, about 6 miles to “Stay-AT-Swatara” hostel for resupply. Also lunch there, pizza & Dr. Pepper, starting to get the knack of hiker food. Immediately uphill for at least a mile, burping up pizza all the way, yuck.
Cool old bridge after crossing the road.
I think Rock-Sylvia is has begun, a bit. Hiked through a number of rock fields. Can anyone pick out the trail in the photo below?
