I was pleased when the taxi taking me back to Kinlochleven arrived slightly early and that there weren’t the insane delays due to roadworks I had noted the day before. And so, I was able to get walking the final section at 10.20 am. Not ideal, but unavoidable given the two night minimum stay at Kingshouse. After strolling through the village for 10 minutes, I began the significant climb out of Kinlochleven. I had expected it to be longer than it was and was pleasantly surprised when after 26 minutes of hard effort I made it to the point where you could look back down at the village and the loch. …
