Wow what a difference a little sunshine makes. We had about 20 people at camp last night and all of us woke up feeling well rested after getting through yesterday’s struggle.
We went to the community center for a slow morning of coffee, burritos, resupply, and even warm showers. We planned for an easy 10 mile day knowing we wouldn’t get on trail as early as usual. This also made the most sense for us water-wise with a stream about 2 miles away and more water 7 miles ahead at Mike’s Place the following day. …
