Day 21: Pentraeth Beach to Beaumaris
The Longest Day
During our cab ride back from Pentraeth Beach yesterday, our driver, David, told us he wouldn’t be able to pick us up until 10:00 am the following morning. He said he had a pickup at Manchester Airport in the morning, and he’d just heard that the flight was delayed. It was another American coming from Atlanta to hike on Angelsey.
David blamed Trump for the delay, but I didn’t quite get the connection. …
