Ahh, yes, the Anza-Borrego desert – where one can wake up covered head-to-toe-to-gear in sand and mica. Then, one could go hike in 40-50MPH wind gusts, dodge 37 cacti, and see two lizards in the middle of the trail performing deeds one doesn’t care to witness at 9am. Alas, here we are.
Today was a tough one. Not in terms of trail, really. It’s just hard being a woman on the trail during certain points of the month. …
