Our First 15 Miler! (Almost):
It was our longest day so far clocking in at 14.7 miles. It certainly wasn’t on purpose. We figured we’d go from Bagg’s Creek to Chattahoochee gap, a 12 mile push to make for an easy day tomorrow. However, some unfortunate wildlife encounters convinced us to push onward to Blue Mountain Shelter.
We were actually the first people to leave camp this time! It was a nice little small group so we had our little morning chat and bounced out. …
