The shuttle
The PCT shuttle is a great deal. For $75 a head, the shuttle picked a group of us up at the train station in downtown San Diego, and an hour and a half later delivered us to the Camp Lockett Event and Equestrian Facility (CLEEF). Sure you can get there cheaper, but then you’d miss out on the bonding experience of starting with other hikers.
