And so it starts…Tomorrow I’ll be taking a shuttle from downtown San Diego to Campo, California, less than a mile from the memorial on the Mexican border marking the Southern start of the Pacific Crest Trail. The day after that I’ll be taking my first steps in an attempt to hike the 2,656 miles to Canada.
