DAY ZERO: Perhaps it’s cliché to say that it felt surreal, but that is the only word I can think of describe arriving at CLEEF campground. There were a lot of Hikers, which was a bit overwhelming for me so I was fairly quiet. Taking it all in it didn’t quite hit me until I walked at sunset to see the monument for the first time.
