Zero Day Reflections – Gatlinburg

I’m sitting in Gatlinburg on a well-earned zero, looking back on the last 100 miles.
I’m getting stronger, and I’ve dropped a few pounds along the way. Lately, I’ve been toying with an idea: guiding small groups through the first 100 miles of the trail. Years ago, I read about “fatpacking”—burning massive energy while hiking—and now I’m living it. I see the value firsthand.
