After my 2023 AT thru hike, I was spent. Elated and fulfilled, to be sure. But physically and emotionally used up.
My toes tingled until February, something that I learned later was called “Christmas Toes.” Mine just lasted a bit longer than Christmas. They didn’t hurt much, but they didn’t really have any feeling besides the tingling.
