Day 21: 4.7
My shoes drastically started to fall apart over the past two days through the Superstition Mountains. A giant hole formed on the left side of my left shoe and smaller hole on the right side of that shoe. I also can see a hole starting in my right shoe. I kept watching the holes get bigger and bigger and wondered when my foot will pop out. What’s worse is that the tread seems to have completely grinded off as if someone took sandpaper to the bottom of my shoe. …
