Animal Crossing: New Horizons is so much more than just a decorating sim

With the announcement of the Animal Crossing: New Horizons 3.0 update, lapsed players are back with plenty of hot takes about the game. Much of the conversation has surrounded the contents of the new update, which is very decorating-centric in its additions. That’s left some players decrying the update as further watering down the series and continuing its descent into being nothing more than a dollhouse simulator.
