The trail started out today along a wildlife sanctuary. According to the proprietors of Mountain Home, it is run by the Smithsonian and has endangered species. None were visible today.
Once past the wildlife sanctuary I had a long slow climb. The day proceeded with ups and downs and not much honestly. I don’t need a view for every climb and probably would have enjoyed it had the trail not been lined with poison ivy. Between the rocks and poison ivy, …
