It has been almost a year since my catastrophe on the CDT. After my rescue, I was in a wheelchair and using a walker for the rest of the summer. A full 12 weeks after my fall, I was able to walk again, finally! It was probably the longest, most frustrating summer of my life. But, I worked hard, made so much progress on my recovery last summer, that now I am planning my summer hikes for this year! …
