Day 13: What goes up…
What goes up must come down, or in this case, what comes down must go up. Where yesterday was all descent, today was all climb.
I left the windmills of Cabazon behind, heading toward Mission Creek. My goal for the day was to get in enough early miles that I could find a tree and hunker down in the shade to ride out the heat.
