I woke up later than usual in the shelter this morning. I knew it would be my longest day of hiking so far, about 15 miles. There were only two large climbs today, with the second and highest being Bluff Mountain. The mountain top was described on FarOut as a “viewless summit.” This assessment was correct, as we remained in a green tunnel for most of the day.
