The drought across the west is weighing heavily on my mind this year, especially as I sit down to plan my Colorado Trail (CT) thru-hike. Most CT thru-hikers trek anywhere from 3-6 days before venturing off trail to resupply. This means that between towns, hikers must carry the supplies they need or find them on trail.
