I woke up at 5:30am this morning to make sure I got out of camp by 6:30am. I wanted to make sure I got a good jump on the day, as today I was going to do the Damascus Marathon! The Damascus Marathon is hiking from Iron Mountain Shelter to the Marathon gas station in Damascus. In theory it is 26.2 miles but I clocked it at 26.6 miles.
