The precise length of the Florida National Scenic Trail changes depending on who you ask. The vast network of alternate routes, “true” trail paths, and reroutes create a nexus of uncertainty when it comes to mileage. In general, it’s fair to say that the Florida Trail, from terminus to terminus, is around 1,500 miles. I’m hiking 1,000 of them.
